The Merced County Office of Education (MCOE) links with community arts programs to enrich the lives of students by fostering challenging and relevant learning and achievement in all arts subject matter. MCOE firmly believes in making arts education accessible to all students regardless of geographic location, family income, ethnicity, language or physical capabilities. MCOE promotes arts education grounded in research, standards-based practices, and advocacy-oriented administrative systems. Arts advocacy features strong community engagement through district arts planning, the integration of arts in the core curriculum and providing quality instructional resources.
